Live Freight S.A.E is hiring a Sales & Import Operations Officer to support the company’s growing activities in the freight forwarding and shipping industry. This role focuses on managing import operations, coordinating shipments, and providing proactive sales support while maintaining high standards of customer service. The position requires close coordination with clients, overseas agents, and carriers to ensure smooth import processes, accurate documentation, and timely deliveries that drive customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.

Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or import/export operations
- Strong sales support, communication, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and international shipping procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple shipments
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Experience working with freight forwarding companies Additional languages
- Experience using Odoo ERP or similar systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience handling international clients
Responsibilities
- Prepare and send freight quotations for import shipments Qualify the customer needs.
- Follow up with clients on quotations, inquiries, and sales leads.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate bookings with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and suppliers.
- Monitor import shipment schedules and provide timely cargo status updates.
- Handle import operational issues and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records for all import shipments.
- Update CRM and pricing systems with shipment and customer data.
- Support sales growth through LinkedIn outreach and client engagement
