The Finance & Accounting Executive is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting management with reliable financial reporting, planning, and analysis. The role covers accounts payable and receivable, treasury and banking operations, reconciliations, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial stability, transparency, and operational efficiency within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP (Odoo preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High integrity and confidentiality.

Nice to have

  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or trading companies Additional languages
  • Experience handling foreign currency and international payments.
  • Experience with ERP automation and process improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting multi-department financial operations

Responsibilities

  • Record, classify, and reconcile daily financial transactions in the ERP system
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Manage customer invoicing and follow up on collections
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Handle treasury, banking, and foreign currency transactions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT, and audits

Internal Support & Coordination

  • Provide management with financial analysis and business insights

  • Monitor logistics-related costs such as freight, customs duties, and supplier charges

  • Coordinate with HR on payroll, advances, and expense reimbursements

  • Support sales and operations teams with financial data

  • Contribute to improving financial processes and ERP efficiency
