The Business Developer & CRM is responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing the company’s CRM system. This role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, generating and converting leads, and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships. By combining effective business development strategies with CRM-driven insights, the position plays a key role in expanding Live Freight’s presence in the logistics, freight forwarding, and trading sectors.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or CRM.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Odoo preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.

Nice to have

  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or trading sectors.
  • Experience using Odoo ERP or similar CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of lead generation and digital sales channels.
  • Experience working with international clients or agents.
  • Strategic planning and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics, shipping, and freight forwarding.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and customer needs Qualify the customer needs.
  • Generate qualified leads and prepare tailored freight solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and customer outreach.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Manage and maintain the CRM system with accurate customer data.
  • Track customer interactions and monitor the sales pipeline.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and after-sales activities.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
  • Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure satisfaction.
  • Strategic Coordination & Reporting
  • Support management in setting sales and growth strategies
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and market insights.
  • Build relationships with overseas agents, shipping lines, and suppliers.
  • Act as a link between clients and internal departments
